If you waited until the last minute to decorate for Halloween (like I did), here are a few projects with dollar store and household items!
Hang doilies webs on the wall, complete with plastic spiders:
Use a black marker to transform marshmallows into ghosts and set them in unexpected places:
(Isn’t the snake skin cool? Unfortunately, our cat likes it, too.)
Carve a small hole in the top of mini pumpkins and add a tea light candle:
And, if there’s one handy, add the iconic symbol of Halloween — a black cat:
Ta-da! Easy homemade decorations, no plastic lawn decorations necessary. (But keep in mind that neighborhood trick-or-treating will go more smoothly if you don’t steal a neighbor’s cat for decor.)
